Bishop's Cleeve born Dr Hilton is Head of Conservation Evidence for The Wildlife and Wetlands Trust. His talk will outline the history and decline of wetland birds in the UK and cover the Trust's experience with Common Crane, Black-tailed Godwit and Eurasian Curlew. Looking to the future he will address opportunities for wetland restoration.
