Cotswold Water Park

A walk around a number of the pits including the Cleeveland Reserve. Possible Cuckoo, many warblers, red crested pochard and several other species.

Meet at Waterhays Car Park at 9am. Map reference SU059933. What three words is meanders.swept.moats The car park is (was!!) a cash pay or by phone – not ideal if cash machine not working.

The postcode is SN6 6QY, but the car park is well to the East of Ashton Keynes in Upper Waterhay

Birds seen or heard: Rook, Crow, Jackdaw, Magpie, Garden warbler, Lesser whitethroat, Whitethroat, Reed warbler, Sedge warbler, Cetti’s warbler, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow warbler, Lesser black headed gull, Herring gull, Swift, Swallow, Robin, Dunnock, Songthrush, Great crested grebe, Coot, Moorhen, Mute swan, Kestrel, Red crested pochard, Canada goose, Greylag goose, Tufted duck, Cuckoo.
