This trip will be by minibus from Cheltenham. The travel cost will be £35 which has been subsidised by Cheltenham Bird Club. Entrance to the Wetland Centre is free for WWT members.

London Wetland Centre is an award-winning urban wetland boasting over 105 acres of nature reserve. Located in the borough of Richmond upon Thames, it is one of the most significant conservation projects of the 21st century. Opened in 2000 and designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the Centre offers a unique birdwatching experience with diverse wetland habitats that attract a remarkable variety of wildlife, including Autumn's star species like green sandpipers, black-tailed godwits, greenshanks, shovelers, and gadwalls.

This is an incredibly interesting site, close to central London, where we have had great trips in the past.
