Hard to resist a visit to the Avalon Marshes in early spring for Bittern, Great White Egret and Marsh Harrier as virtual bankers plus lots of warblers, waterfowl and butterflies.

Ham Wall produced everything we could have hoped for (except any Swallows!!) and a real bonus White Stork. It's always interesting to go there and realise how quickly birds like Bittern booming, hunting Marsh Harrier and Great White Egrets become very familiar.
